Travelling Doctors is an online community for Overseas Doctors living and working in Australia. Every year several thousands of doctors come from abroad to work in Australia and most have the same questions, concerns and requirements and Travelling Doctors has become the central focal point for this community.
Travelling Doctors were use an email marking tool named Vision 6 and a Content Management System named Joomla. As neither of these systems "spoke" to one another, the owners of Travelling Doctors were constantly having to update each database with the most up-to-date information.
We developed a tool that would seamlessly and automatically ensure that both databases were always up to date, saving the people at Travelling Doctors a lot of time out of their day.
