"Wholesale / retail supply of automotive paints and associated products."
What products and/or services does your business offer?
"We offer a full range of quality automotive paints, industrial paints, tools and equipment, spray equipment and all sundry products."
How did you originally discover the idea for your business?
"I was manageing one of Sydney's largests paint distributors and heard that an opportunity was available to secure a distributorship on the Central Coast."
What have been the keys to success in your eyes?
"Our Bergan Blue website... just kidding! A strong customer focus, great product selection and technical support."
What kind of relationship do you establish with your customers? How do you maintain this?
"We try to develop a personal relationship by providing the best possible products and service. We also call on all our trade customers weekly."
Do you believe business networking is important? If yes, how so?
"To a degree - I believe this only works in certain styles of businesses."
Do you employ any web or online marketing
"Not until recently, when Bergan Blue designed our site."
Have you noticed any trends in your industry at the moment?
"It is a mature market - hence diversification."
What is your greatest achievement?
"Securing a Glasurit distributorship and achieving 49% over budget."
What do you like most about your job?
"The satisfaction I get when we win a new account from an opposing brand."
