Briefly, what is your business about?
"We are an Exclusive Buyer's Agent on the Central Coast. We find property on behalf of buyers."
What products and/or services does your business offer?
"Search and locate properties, evaluate properties, negoiation and auction bidding."
How did you originally discover the idea for your business?
"Friends asked me to find property for them, they were time-poor. So I decided to gain my Real Estate License and open the agency."
What have been the keys to success in your eyes?
"Word of mouth, self promotion, website designer."
What kind of relationship do you establish with your customers? How do you maintain this?
"Very informative, keeping my clients up to date at every stage via phone, email and fax. We also have a customer service questionnaire on settlement of property sale."
Do you believe business networking is important? If yes, how so?
"Yes, it is paramount. It boosts your profile. You need to build trust and rapport with the community."
Do you employ any web or online marketing
"Thank you to Jon Bergan, the website is up and running. We're now looking at Google AdWords in 2009."
Have you noticed any trends in your industry at the moment?
"Yes, a lot of first home buyers in the market. Properties under $300,000 are selling quickly."
What is your greatest achievement?
"Completing my full Real Estate License with REINSW."
What do you like most about your job?
"Helping clients to find their ideal property and the smile on their face on settlement day when you hand over the keys!"
